Wabash National Corporation Gave Nearly $700,000 in Charitable Contributions in 2013

LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Jan. 23, 2014 – Wabash National Corporation (NYSE: WNC) today announced it contributed nearly $700,000 to various national and local community organizations in 2013 with the generous support of company associates and suppliers across the United States.

“We’re proud to continue our longstanding company principle of actively engaging in and giving back to our communities,” said Wabash National President and Chief Executive Officer Dick Giromini. “It’s our privilege to be able to provide aid to many of the outstanding community organizations that make a positive difference for the people they serve.”

Some of the organizations that received charitable contributions from Wabash National in 2013 includedUnited Way, Wounded Warrior Project,Wabash Center, Special Olympics, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Lafayette Armory and U.S. Army Reserve Center.

Total contributions were a collective effort of associates’ donations and pledges, corporate donations and other fundraising initiatives. This includes the $159,000 raised through the generous contributions of more than 100 Wabash National suppliers during the company’s 2013 charity golf outing.
